5.12 – The One With The Jetpacks Pt.2

POST NUMBER SIX! One more and I’ll have that silver medal!! Also non-creative titling because both these posts are largely jetpack related and I can’t think of anything to call them 😀

This is Martin’s superman face.

This is cute, though I’m amazed he can hold her like that without dropping her. That looks really awkward!

It’s still really freaking cute.

And now for some synchronised flying!

Sims are weird.

Martin is an expert flyer and Bubbles is noob trash – it’s really funny to watch Martin’s carefree but controlled zooming around, and Bubbles being out of control and towed around by her jetpack.

I might use this as his trait card! He doesn’t have one, and probably should – though I’m not sure if I gave any of the other spouses one??

Bubbles: Heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!

Martin: What do you need help with, dear?

Bubbles: You know what, take your skills and get out of here.

So he did just that.

No sign of them anywhere, just a cute trail of love heart petals!

Pap: Juicy stuff, I should take notes. Nobody’s going to believe this!

Martin: So, did I show you a whole new world?

Pap: Now this is a story I can sell to the papers.

So after me dictating the options just to see what happens, I think I gave them a kick in the love life because they started autonomously being cute again.

Pap: Yeah, you get some, Bubbles!

Bubbles: Excuse me, dear, while I just have an old lady murdered.

Speaking of testing out new things, I bought the Dream Pod again (Mia and Amy had it) now we have somebody with the advance technology skill who can actually use it properly!

Remus: Do you think if I drew a picture of Sirius I would pass my art homework?

Harry: You’d better let me do it, I am going to be a famous artist, remember?

Remus: But it’s my homework… and my dog.

I added a shower cubicle to the downstairs bathroom! So many people keep needing a shower at the same time and end up walking in on each other, so I added a space for another shower.

I tried to make it like one big shower unit, but nobody really uses it so I might just change it to a real bath soon.

I did try having a future shower (upgraded by Martin), but nobody liked that either.

Good dreams! This was cute – they were dreaming about family or a perfect life or something, and they both woke up with the moodlet saying they were dreaming about what they have every day. Cute!

Remus: Look, Luna. One day, one of us is going to take over the legacy house, and when that days comes we’re going to need to know how to cook.

Luna: That’s great, but could you have used a counter that wasn’t right by the dishwasher?

Poor Remus. He tried to cook waffles, burnt them, and also make the counter and cooker filthy in the process.

Ginny: Bonehilda, awaken! I am still in this house too!

Bonehilda: Sup, bitches?

Luna: Must. Work. Out… Must. Be. More. Famous. Than. Harry.

Ah, sibling rivalry..

Ginny: What must it be like to actually be featured in posts? I am one of the potential heiresses, you know.

Everyone’s at school/work again, and with Hilda wandering around Bubbles uses her time to play games.

Bubbles: What do you mean I didn’t win! How could that not win! I had the least points!

… you’re playing football. You want points.

Bubbles: Oh.

Bubbles: This makes much more sense, I’m winning now!

Bubbles: I SAW YOUR REPORT CARD, DID YOU THINK YOU COULD GET AWAY WITH THIS!? THERE’S NO WAY YOU CAN TAKE OVER THE HOUSE WITH AN F, SONNY BOY!

Harry: Mum, you’re shouting so loud you’re going to wake the dead.

And then Luna comes home and gets the same treatment for skipping school.

Luna: Fuck.

Remus, meanwhile, is out on a jetpack. Bubbles kept using hers and so I took it away and gave it to somebody else who wouldn’t use it.

Clearly, I was wrong.

Remus: This is both utterly terrifying and very exciting.

Remus: I don’t think I like this any more…

Remus: This hurts.

I confiscated the jetpack for the time being, and instead gave him the hoverboard. This way he can safely level up his Advanced Technology skill without the insane risk of death.

Remus: But it’s not as cool!

Remus: I take it back, this is pretty cool.

For some reason, he decided to go home off road. Have a nice picture of Sunset Valley!

Bored, I sent him back out to level his tech skill, and he glitched out. Instead of flying, he did this really weird walk with the board attached to his foot.

Remus: I don’t think this is right…

I left him to it.
