Ahh, this legacy is so crazy. I miss them when I’m not playing them, then load them up and instantly get overwhelmed and have to take a three day break. But I will persevere!
RECAP; Mia had twin Blossom and Boomer, Brick and Bubbles became teens, everyone refused to parent then suddenly decided to be super-parents for five minutes, Mia lost her spine, Lyra chose Blossom, Bubbles established herself as a prankster, Blossom was cute, Bubbles learned to drive, Brick was left on toddler duty, Mia has a limo which takes her to work, Amy and Mia became Adults and started a midlife crisis, and then there was some adorable toddler spam.
Brick: Bubbles, get out of the bathroom I need to pee!
Bubbles: Yeah, but I need to pee too.
Brick: There’s a toilet downstairs!
Bubbles: Yesss, but somebody may have booby trapped that one and I’m not using it.
Brick: There are two downstairs!!
Bubbles: Yes?
Amy: I know you have to go to school in about five minutes and if you don’t I’ll just yell at you, but want to play catch?
Brick: I can’t see how this could possibly go wrong.
One of Mia’s midlife crisis wishes was to ‘Get a Makeover’, something which is easily fulfilled!
Mia: Do these make my thighs look fat?
Yes. They’re like 110% muscle.
Blossom: FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE FREAKING FEED ME!? I’M GOING TO STAAAAAAAAAAAARVE.
Seriously. This child scares me.
Mia: You know you’re going to die soon, right?

Bubbles: I know my mother is standing outside the window, but she’s distracted so this is the perfect time.
Big sister Bubbles! You can really see the Amy in her, it’s kind of disappointing.
Boomer: I’m just letting you know that I’m still here, just in case you’ve forgotten me amongst all the other children in this house!
Bonehilda: I’d never forget you, Boomer!

Oh and look, Lyra potty trained Blossom!

Brick: If you ignore it, maybe it will go away.

So, Prom was a thing that happened.

And Mia has yet another show! I feel like showing them is getting boring at this point but if I didn’t then I don’t think Mia would be in the post.

He rolled virtuoso. I dread this, so many sims being distracted by the sound of music…
Boomer: I just dread my life in general.
Lyra: Wooo, happy birthday Boomer!
Blossom: Yay twin!
Boomer: Guys, it’s over. Take the cake and go.

So, I’ve been having an in-game issue… All of the babies born are faceclones. Is this a mod setting? Does a mod cause this? Has anybody else had this problem?
The only mod I think it could be is Woohooer, but I have no idea.
The Gordon Legacy 
I love Bomer and Brick XD And sassy grandma Lyre teaching the baby how to walk was awesome! As for the face clone issue, I think that’s just EA genetics (could be a mod, I don’t have woohooer so idk how that affects the game). But as far as my own legacy-ish challenge goes, a lot of my sims are clones of their dad…. >.<

I have also wondered if a mod could cause an influx of face clones. Sometimes they mess with stuff you don’t realize they’re messing with (currently crying because I binged on medieval CC and am now the proud accidental owner of a CAS HEIGHT SLIDER (???) that I can’t actually control, so that’s fun). However I have no concrete evidence to support that accusation so I’m putting it down to my terrible luck for now. EA is pretty good at producing clones and nothing but. But it might be worth a Google investigation!
Another great chapter that made me love this family even more. ❤ Blossom is rocking the hair that Razor wore as a child, so that's pretty cool. But I think Boomer may be making a surge in my books – he's so freakin' cute!
I totally sympathize with your weird feelings about playing the family – I'll spend entire days at work craving the Sims so hard, then come home and boot the game up only to do one thing and go "lol that's enough for now." Psychology, man. Anyway, you're keeping on way better than I am, so kudos for pushing through!

My guess would be the woohooer mod (I don’t know if I said this in the post) because it’s the only one I never had installed before, and now it is and now my game is broken. But then again, EA is broken anyway soo!
Yay 😀 And I think it’s also the hair Michael had as a baby!? It’s the only hair that really suited her face, the long hairs didn’t at all. Boomer is adorable as a toddler, and utterly dorky as a child!
I’m all caught up with pictures over here, and the Gordons are just so exhausting at the moment so I’m not sure if I’ll play again for a while. Though, I’m seeing my sister and my niece tomorrow; I could end up playing then!

I’m enjoying Mia’s acrobatics routines! Very rarely play showtime careers myself, so fun to watch them in other people’s legacies.
nraas is your saviour when it comes to face clones. In addition to the MC suggestion I put in my previous comment (can you tell I’m bored at work?), there are genetic blending options in Extra Story Progression, which can give the chance of mutation or using grandparent facial genetics. I guess EA didn’t consider that we might play many generations in towns with no new immigrants, thus the programming fail that is face clones.
